Custom earplugs for your leisure time
One pair of earplugs for the festival, the motorcycle and the night flight? That works, if you choose the filter well. Here you can read how to choose earplugs for your hobbies, what they cost and how to make them truly yours.
One pair for several situations
You choose one pair of custom earplugs with one filter. If you use them for different things, choose the filter for your main situation, or talk to us about a second filter.
A DM filter sounds best with music, while a DR 15 or DR 20 gives more calm at night. If you go out more often than you sleep badly, choose DM.
Earplugs for concertsFlat attenuation works for both. Wind noise and music get quieter, while voices and sound stay natural.
Earplugs for motorcyclistsAll situations where you want calm but still want to stay reachable. A light to medium DR filter suits all three.
Earplugs for travellingThe Earplugs for hunting and shooting have a DIM impulse filter that gives extra protection with peaks. The Earplugs for fireworks are made for loud bangs.
Hearing protection for huntingFor the school musical, King's Day (Koningsdag) or New Year's Eve. For music activities for children up to and including 13, 91 dB(A) is the agreed maximum. Ears are still growing, so have the fit checked regularly.

Custom earplugs with your logoHow to choose earplugs for your leisure time
Start with where you wear them most
The fit is the same for every use, custom earplugs made from an impression of your ear. The difference is in the filter. So first think about where you wear your earplugs most often and how loud it is there. At a festival, under the agreements in the music sector, the sound can reach 103 dB(A). Under a motorcycle helmet on the motorway it is around 94 dB, and in an aircraft cabin about 75 to 85 dB(A). On the pages for each use above, you will find the details and sources for each situation.
Then choose enough protection to stay safe, but no more than you need. With too much protection you understand people less well and you are more likely to take your earplugs out. See also overprotection.
Choose acrylic or silicone
Hard acrylic is firm, durable and easy to clean, and is the basis of the price. Silicone is soft and flexible, and comfortable for long wear, under a helmet or if you sleep on your side. For this you pay a small extra cost. More in acrylic or silicone, which should you choose?
If you mainly wear them in bed, read sleeping with custom earplugs.
Make them yours
You are more likely to wear hearing protection you like. Choose a colour (clear, black, white, green, red, blue or a custom colour), a jewel in silver, gold or rose gold, or from 10 pairs your own design with our logo print, which is patent pending. A colour that stands out is also easier to find. All the options are on personalise. Which colour goes in which ear is explained in which colour custom earplug goes in which ear?
