Why these earplugs
Unique earplugs
Choose acrylic or silicone in the colour you want, with a standard logo or a jewel.
The right protection
Light attenuation in a compact design, made for busy places such as the train, a birthday party or the supermarket. You can still follow conversations.
High quality
Colour and logo do not change the protection. Technically, they are equivalent to plain custom earplugs.
Comfortable and ventilated
The filter allows a continuous flow of air in the ear. This reduces the blocked feeling and helps prevent irritation in the ear canal.
Clearly yours
Their eye-catching look makes our earplugs easy to recognise, so they are more likely to be found and returned to their owner.
Unique logo print
Our logo print is patent pending. Companies and clubs can have their own logo printed from 10 pairs.
Who is it for?
Developed for people who are looking for earplugs for sensory overload.
With a high-quality membrane filter
Our hearing protectors have a membrane filter as standard, instead of a traditional tube filter. Ordinary earplugs often reduce sound unevenly. They reduce too little in the low tones and too much where it is not needed. Our filters give a natural, clear sound, so speech stays easy to understand.
Frequently asked questions
How does ordering work?
You design your earplugs online in the Designlab and get a design code and a PDF. You use them to book an appointment at a partner hearing centre. The hearing care professional takes impressions of your ears, which are included in the price. You pay at the hearing centre. Your earplugs are ready about three weeks after your ear impressions are taken. You agree with your hearing care professional whether you collect them or have them sent to you.
Which material is best for me?
With custom earplugs, you choose between hard acrylic and soft silicone.
Acrylic is sturdy, durable and easy to clean. That makes it ideal if you use your earplugs often and want them to last a long time.
Silicone is flexible and soft. It is extra comfortable, especially if you wear your earplugs for long periods or have sensitive ears. That way you choose the material that best suits how you use them and what you prefer.
Which level of protection suits me best?
For the office, sleeping or travelling, light attenuation is often enough, around 9 to 16 dB SNR. For concerts, festivals and motorcycling, you usually choose 16 to 20 dB. In noisy industry and construction, a DI filter goes up to 26 dB. For shots and bangs, a DIM filter is the right choice. It adds extra attenuation when there is a loud peak. Your hearing care professional helps you choose the attenuation that suits your situation.
When will my earplugs be ready?
Your earplugs are ready about three weeks after your ear impressions are taken. You agree with your hearing care professional whether you collect them at the hearing centre or have them sent to you.
Can I get a different level of protection?
The earplugs for sensory overload come with a 9 dB SNR filter as standard. You can get higher or lower attenuation. Choose a different filter in the Designlab, or order an extra filter set later. Not sure? Use the filter finder.
