Made in our own lab.
Every Audibling earplug comes from the ear technology laboratory of Audiform in Kilder. They have been making ear moulds and custom hearing protection there for more than 25 years, cast by hand or digitally designed and 3D printed.
Kelreweg 4, KilderMore than 25 years of craftsmanship
Audiform is a medium-sized ear technology laboratory in Kilder. For more than 25 years the team has been making ear moulds and custom hearing protection. Hearing centres all over the Netherlands work with the lab, and more and more companies from the region work with it directly.
The starting point is always the same. No two ears are alike. That is why every piece is made for one wearer. This is done the traditional way, cast entirely by hand, or digitally. Then it is modelled on the computer and 3D printed.
Because the lab is small enough to oversee, the lines are short. A technical question goes straight to the people on the workshop floor who make your earplug.

From ear impression to custom earplug
This is how the impression of your ear becomes an earplug in the lab that fits exactly.
-
1
The ear impression
An impression of your ear is taken at a hearing centre, at the lab in Kilder or at your workplace (from 10 people).
-
2
Design and material
The impression arrives digitally or physically. Then the material (hard acrylic or soft flexible material), the venting and the canal are fixed.
-
3
Making
Your earplug is digitally modelled and 3D printed, or cast by hand using the traditional method.
-
4
Finishing
A lacquer finish and colour complete it. At Audibling you choose your own colour and, if you like, a logo or jewel.
-
5
Filter in and done
The filter that suits you clicks into place. Your earplugs are ready about three weeks after your ear impressions are taken.
Precision without compromise
Craftsmanship and precision are central in the lab. This is what you can count on.
