How does custom hearing protection with a logo work?
A custom earplug is made from an impression of the ear. That is why it fits exactly and stays comfortable for the whole shift. On custom earplugs with a logo, your logo is printed clearly visible on the outside. Until recently, this was not possible on custom-made earplugs. With our patent-pending logo print, custom earplugs can now have their own print. Your own logo is available from 10 pairs. For smaller numbers, the earplugs get a standard logo.
Colour, material and filter
- For the colour, you choose clear, black, white, green, red or blue, or a custom colour by arrangement, such as your company colour.
- For the material, you choose silicone (soft and flexible, extra wearing comfort) or hard acrylic (sturdy, durable and easy to clean).
- The filter is an interchangeable membrane filter from the DR, DM, DI or DIM series, matched to the work environment. You can find all series on our filter page.

Recognisable and personal
Universal earplugs all look alike. Custom earplugs in your company colour with a logo are instantly recognisable as belonging to your company, and because they are custom-made, they belong to one person. Colleagues do not pick up each other's earplugs by mistake.
Lost less often, returned sooner
You spot a striking colour and a logo more quickly than a clear earplug. If one does get lost, it is immediately clear which company it belongs to. That way they get back to their owner sooner. If a custom earplug is really gone, we offer a fast replacement service.
Employees actually wear them
Hearing protection only works if it is worn. A good fit and a breathable design help keep them comfortable, even during long shifts. A look that employees are proud of can give them an extra nudge to keep them in.

What does the law say? The Working Conditions Decree in brief
The rules on noise in the workplace are in chapter 6, section 3 of the Working Conditions Decree. According to Arboportaal, the Dutch government's website on working conditions, these limits apply to daily exposure.

Employers must also inform employees properly about the dangers of noise, and employees are entitled to a hearing test. Arboportaal gives a useful rule of thumb. If you can no longer understand someone clearly at a distance of one metre, the noise is probably above 80 dB(A).

- On-site fitting. For 10 or more people, our specialists come to your workplace to take the ear impressions, following strict hygiene guidelines. For a smaller team, or if it is more convenient, employees have their ear impressions taken at a partner hearing centre through find a hearing centre.
- Made in our lab. Every custom earplug is made to measure in our own lab in the Netherlands, in your colour and with your logo.
- Delivery per employee. The custom earplugs are ready about three weeks after the ear impressions are taken, recognisable per employee and with a storage case.
Which filter for which workplace?
The logo makes them recognisable. The filter provides the right protection. Here are a few examples.

Also for clubs, associations and individuals
Large companies are not the only ones who can have their own logo. A band, motorcycle club or association can just as easily have recognisable earplugs made, as long as it is 10 pairs or more. Does a logo reduce the protection?
No. Custom earplugs with a colour or logo are technically equivalent to traditional custom earplugs. The protection is determined by the fit and the filter.
How long does it take before we have the custom earplugs?
The custom earplugs are ready about three weeks after the ear impressions are taken.
